Even almost three weeks later :)

It was amazing fun, being surrounded by other fans in that beautiful city, more orange and black than I'd ever seen in my entire life. Shuffling through piles of ticker tape in the aftermath of the parade as I walked to City Hall is something I'll never forget.

Until next time, San Francisco <3

I'm flying out late tomorrow night, heading to San Francisco for Wednesday's World Series parade. I'm only going to be there for 24 hours because I have to be back at work on Thursday, but it will be worth every chaotic moment. I regretted not going up there in 2010, and I don't think you can realistically count on your team winning the WS every two years, so. Off I go.

I can't wait to see Tim in a shower of ticker tape, in a city that I love, surrounded by other fans in their black and orange. On Halloween! It's so perfect.

2012 World Series champion San Francisco Giants!

Not gonna lie, it's a little weird celebrating the World Series Champion San Francisco Giants here in Phoenix. When Wilson recorded the final out on Monday night, the only sound in the bar was me, applauding. My friends didn't even realize that the Giants had just won the entire thing.

I don't even know what to do, sometimes.

But yeah, it's like celebrating in a vacuum. "If a tree falls in a forest," etc. Thank goodness for LJ <3

I secretly streamed the victory parade today at work. It was beautiful—the weather, the city, the immeasurable joy on the faces of the players and fans. Tim in his girlpants.

Photos, of course. )

Wish I had been there! Next time, I'm just going to have to pay the money. It's probably worth it :)

Giants 4, Rangers 0.

The Giants are up 3-1 in the World Series. Tim with an opportunity to do big things tomorrow.

So much for dueling pitchers, but it was a cool game anyway.

There's a lot going on here.

I hope their happiness is a sign of things to come.
