Where the real fun is

I like to imagine that this is Robert gazing dreamily up at Simon after an utterly delicious, frenzied roll in the hay (or on the leaf-dappled grass, as it were), where they were so desperate for each other they could only be bothered to strip from the waist down.

Pictures like this make me wonder: Would any of you be interested in a comm where we post photos (or other content) that we find inspiring, and then anyone who feels suitably inspired could write a little something in the comments? Maybe it's 100 words; maybe it's 1000 words. Maybe at times it leads to a proper fic. I've been toying with this idea for a while and would love to know if you think it's interesting/viable/something you'd want to do?

I think is a very good idea, and missescookie proved immediately and successfully that it works, but I'm afraid I will only participate as a reader. Though my last fic was inspired by a photo of Simon someone posted and with my great surprise I wrote it in about a week, usually I'm a terribly slow writer and it takes me ages to complete a fic, even a standalone, and I'm going through a very bad time of my life that really doesn't help my inspiration. Reading helps me a bit and that I will do.

Comms need readers/commenters/cheerleaders, so your participation will be valued and appreciated! :) And if you feel like writing a little something down the road, you'll have a place to do so (and a bunch of people who will read/comment/cheerlead on your behalf)!

Okay, till I'm able to write again I'll be a reader/commenter/cheerleader. Also, I might submit pictures I find inspiring.

That would be awesome as your comments are always so thorough. I miss things, not deliberately, but because I tend to do too many things at once and so my comments suffer (gee, does that sound ADHD enough for ya?) And pictures of our lovelies work wonders to get the creativity (or naughtiness) flowing.

I already have a couple of pictures in mind, but really there are so many, especially in the Honeymoon Years, that seem to have a juicy story behind.

I can't wait to see your pics from the 'Honeymoon Years'. Their love was so obvious, they were hopeless to hide it.

I agree, the pics from those years are so telling. All the ones I have in mind are well known, nothing new, but someone could write the reasons behind the smiles, the lingering looks, the knees touching...
