Larry's Head v3.0

Just got back a little while ago from Larry's Assist 4 Africa charity basketball game. Such a good time :) I got to spend two hours in close proximity to his head (as well as the rest of his body) and it was delightful.

He's a pretty decent basketball player, too. Poor defender and terrible 3-point shooter, but he's an excellent ball-handler (not that this shocks me) and great around the hoop and on the fastbreak.

By the way, he is beautiful.

Let's pretend these don't look as though I was drunk when I took them. Alright? Alright.

At one point, they played "Walk It Out" over the PA and Kurt and Larry had a dance-off. (Yes, Kurt was totally there and I didn't take a single picture of him. I'm sorry, but who would, with Larry and his head there?) I have to say that despite the fact that he's 38 years old and coming off of a recent hip surgery, Kurt totally owned Larry in the dance-off. But Larry had a huge, gorgeous smile on his face the entire time so I sort of feel like everyone won.

Wow, can we say "out of context"? Haha.

Beautiful indeed.

He is so pretty in person, and his smile is ridiculous. By the end of it my face was sore from smiling, but I couldn't not smile continuously while looking at him with that huge grin on his face the whole time.

Wait-- Kurt outdanced Larry?? Holy crap. That's crazy. Why aren't you more shocked. This would be more surprising than finding out that they're actually boning each other on the low.

How are you not more 'O.O!!!'???!

HOW.

I need evidence of this.

I'm...not sure. I mean, I figured Larry was a good dancer, and he wasn't bad. But Kurt was borderline crazy, I had no idea he had it in him.

I exchanged some emails with the Cards' official blogger earlier today and he said he'll post photos in a day or two. Whether or not they will address the dance-off specifically remains to be seen. Perhaps there will be some Youtube videos posted eventually?

so larry can't dance. i see. i'm sorry to say i feel this adds credit to the "no style" theory, h_g.

man, he is gorgeous. also look at the size of his feet.

You know, it's not that he can't dance. It's that the level of expectation was so radically different - you look at Kurt and don't really envision that he's capable of anything even remotely competent, all things considered, and then he turns out to be quite skillful. So Larry, while not bad by any means, just sort of pales in comparison. It was by far the highlight of the afternoon, though.

look at the size of his feet.

I know, right? At one point when Larry was sitting on the sideline, he had his legs splayed open and my girlfriends and I were all just like, "Why hello there." Sadly, by the time I thought to grab the camera he had already crossed his legs. Such false modesty.
