Besides, they were close friends indeed, before and during the making of Pornography and the tour (Severin was responsible of "sowing the seed of discontent" between Robert and Simon and was proud of it, he said it himself only a few years ago) and after the boys split up too. Robert was very often in Severin's flat, taking acids with him and sleeping on his floor, and this was declared by Robert. But I wonder about the floor bit. Severin must have had a bed and I don't think he was immune to Robert's appeal or he wouldn't have worked so hard to make him and Simon part.
