When I say "Young," you say "Money."

"Young." "Money."
"Young." "Money."
Lather, rinse, repeat.
It sounds inane, and to be honest that part of it kind of was, but it was a hot, sweaty, filthy, incredible, wonderful night.
I've known about Lil Wayne's ~*swagger*~ for some time, but the reality of seeing him in person was different than I expected. It was almost whimsical, the way he moved. He took me by surprise with how childlike he was at times, skipping across the stage and hopping up and down the stairs over and over. Maybe it's because of how small he is; not sure. When he smiled, it was wide and genuine and you could see the diamonds even all the way back where we were sitting. He let his hair down later in the show and it kept falling in his eyes, and it makes me wonder what it is about stars, that their hair always falls "just so" and makes them look amazing. He's totally a gremlin (they even showed a photo of a gremlin on the tv screens at one point, though the meaning of it was unclear), but he is awesome and he fascinates me.
Oh, and Birdman came out for a handful of songs. Can anyone tell me if Birdman is relevant on his own merit, when he's notmaking out with "collaborating" with Wayne? If he is, it has completely escaped my attention.
Anyway, the entire place smelled like beer and pot. Cricket is a dump of a venue; I guess it's been long enough since I went there that I'd forgotten. But it's outside and there was wind and a monsoon slowly building and lightning flickering all night long, and it was cool, the whole thing.
