Week in the Life, Day 2

I'm not doing a great job of remembering to take pictures, but hopefully I'll improve over the course of the week.
My lunch meeting was cancelled, so it gave me an opportunity to go out to eat with a coworker/friend. We sat outside next to planters full of flowers, which was beautiful, but this is the second time that the food itself has been a hot mess. Do not recommend.

After work I met the girls for dinner, where we learned that our friend Kerry is now "newly-engaged Kerry." She and her fiance are two of the best people I know, and it turned into a really joyous celebration. Our efforts to take a photo together, with Kerry showing off her ring, were somewhat impeded by the hipstamatic novice taking the photo, but it's the thought that counts.

Given that Pope Francis was elected on this historic day, it seemed appropriate to take a picture of the local Catholic hospital on my drive home.

Then, it was time for tennis. Kind of intense, how much I'd missed watching Rafa and his amazing down-the-line forehand winners <3

And Simon!
