I like to imagine that this is Robert gazing dreamily up at Simon after an utterly delicious, frenzied roll in the hay (or on the leaf-dappled grass, as it were), where they were so desperate for each other they could only be bothered to strip from the waist down.

Pictures like this make me wonder: Would any of you be interested in a comm where we post photos (or other content) that we find inspiring, and then anyone who feels suitably inspired could write a little something in the comments? Maybe it's 100 words; maybe it's 1000 words. Maybe at times it leads to a proper fic. I've been toying with this idea for a while and would love to know if you think it's interesting/viable/something you'd want to do?

This is a lovely surprise!! I love the pic of Rob and the idea of it being post-quickie. And that scruff...too much!

This little ficlet is glorious. I've always loved that pic. I love that you can see Simon's fingers around Robert's waist. I guess I could see Rob being drunk enough to sit on his lap and still be able to maintain the facade they weren't in a sexual relationship, but Simon's reflex was to hold him...that's a little more difficult to explain away. Love these boys.

I think the idea of a comm is a fantastic one! It's so much easier to write when we're all brainstorming and inspiring each other. Please do this!

I do have a few tidbits to post too. I read the entire Visual Documentary book last weekend and didn't find the quote about Simon's penis, but I did find a few other interesting quotes I'd love to share :)

There are *so many* sources of inspiration out there—I'm already dying to know what you found!

Glad to know you're on board. I'll get to work getting a comm organized.

Oh, please share those quotes! I used to have that book, but sold it years ago. :( I think I remember it had some really cool photos.
