shadow_shimmer and I were there, with bells on. Before the game we ate at Stoudemire's Downtown, Amare's new restaurant venture. It was all very...apropos. We got to wish him good luck on TV and it must have worked, because he scored 20 points and had 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. He even dunked. I was on the verge of tears, seriously. Cathleen can vouch for me.
Like I said, never experienced anything like that before, the pure joy and excitement of seeing him back, and the whole crowd supporting him...
It made up for the fact that Boris only scored 4 points.
Saturday is the Suns/Nuggets game. We have great seats (best seats of my life so far, actually) and as of this moment, knock on wood, everyone's still healthy. Everyone. *gets a little choked up again*
