Make my day

I came across this at work today, and I don't think I've stopped smiling since:

Kurt crashing Larry's interview after the NFC Championship Game. I've seen the interview a couple of times, but never any photos.
---
Went for another crazy bad run this evening. There was this heaviness to my body that felt really strange—my knees and ankles were jarred with every stride. It also didn't help that I was nearly run over by a taxi. Like, very nearly run over in a crosswalk. Shortly thereafter I was almost hit by a man on a bicycle. It was somewhat comical because we were both maneuvering to avoid each other, but it was an abject failure and I ended up nearly straddling his front tire, which would not have been that hilarious, really. A little further down the street, some kid was doing skateboard tricks on a ledge next to my head, and I was anxious about his visible lack of competency. It seems that the people you encounter on the street are never any good at skateboarding, and I didn't want something (like a skateboard, or...you know...his body) flying at my face.
Anyway, after several years I know that running downtown has its challenges and its risks, but that block-and-a-half was kind of stressful for me.
It was a pretty run, though. There are a lot of trees in bloom along Central, and stretches of sidewalk were blanketed with yellow and violet flowers that had dropped from the branches. It was kind of fun to kick up my feet as I ran through the flowers. Little slippery, though, but it provided brief distraction from my hyper-awareness of my own mass.

Date: 2009-04-29 07:03 pm (UTC)I was looking around for the interview last night, because if I remember correctly it was pretty slashy - you could hear, through the mic, Kurt rubbing Larry, somewhat vigorously, while Larry just sort of made noises. Unfortunately it was nowhere to be found :/
