Be still, my heart.

I love running, and I love Larry. Larry apparently loves running, too, according to Nike.
This website totally doesn't play nice on my Mac, but I don't care. The struggle is worth it. It makes me want new running shoes, too, but after four years of loyalty, I'm thinking I might try a different brand. I'm not convinced Nike is the best anymore, honestly—even if Larry is splashed all over their website, sans tights and looking gorgeous and fit.

Date: 2009-05-18 06:41 am (UTC)my running shoes are asics, and i love them. these are my second pair of asics actually. before that i had addidas shoes, which were fine but used to pinch my toes a bit over longer distances. i've never had nike shoes. i don't have any nike running gear actually, although i have totally wanted to buy some since getting into tennis fandom. i am so suggestible.

Date: 2009-05-19 04:28 am (UTC)I'm totally a Nike whore—often when I go running, the only articles of clothing that are swoosh-less are my bra and underwear—though I'm sure that could be easily rectified if I were so inclined. It's borderline embarrassing, but like you say, tennis has made me powerless to resist. Nike is a really good brand, though—I love their socks, of all things!—and incredibly well-marketed; I really appreciate their design aesthetic.
This is all just my lame attempts to justify walking around looking like a Nike mannequin, of course.
