Sedona revisited.

Went up to Sedona for the weekend. Just the girls this time, so no big gay weddings and no drag queens. It was gorgeous and a lot of fun, even though I was perpetually cold. Apparently my idea of 61 degrees isn't very accurate, especially when the wind is blowing like crazy the entire time; in the future I will bring more clothes. And a legitimate coat.
This is Chapel of the Holy Cross, built into the side of a mountain and absolutely amazing. It almost made me want to go to church properly sometime, not just visit and take a bunch of touristy photos.

"Please don't pick us, we're smiling at God."

We stopped a pretty crazy store with two adorable cats running around and free samples of life-changing mulled apple cider. Seriously, my new goal in life is to replicate that cider. But of course, I couldn't just buy the spice packets that they were selling—that would have been far too easy and made too much sense.

The store's "cactus room."

Later in the day we hiked the Teacup Trail. It was beautiful.

See the teapot in the rock formations?

At the end of the trail (maybe not the actual end, but the end for us) was an enormous sinkhole. There were no railings or anything, just sheer dropoffs of undetermined depth and random people walking right up to the edge with no regard for their personal safety. The entire thing almost gave me a panic attack.

Woke up this morning to cold, rainy weather outside the windows, so we just cooked breakfast and then sat around in front of the fireplace drinking tea and watching football.

As an aside, I own at Boggle. Can you say "venerate"? 11 points, thank you very much.
Meanwhile, I'm writing actual Posey/Lincecum (which in large part I blame on this gif), but it's kind of a weird thing.
Especially when I find Zito/Lincecum gifs of this variety.

Tim and Barry just seem perfectly suited to each other, IMO, so this sudden influx of Posey/Lincecum shenanigans in my own head has me unsettled. And yet, here I am writing it.
So, there's that. A good weekend.
