First, some food porn:
My sister's Nach-Yo Dog.

My kimchi dog.

It was awesome.
Also awesome: They opened the roof at Chase Field, even though it was 100 degrees outside <3

So between eating the hot dog and flailing over the roof opening, I wasn't really ready when the players came out.

But I got it together. Aubrey Huff!

Panda's first game back <3

Meanwhile, I spy with my little eye...

Back on the field: Romo.

Bumgarner on the mound.

Second-favorite Giant <3

Bromance.

There were a lot of heads in the way, constantly, but I still like this one a lot.

It was good to see the team. And to see Tim, even though it was mostly just the back of his head a lot of the time. I never knew I could be so enthralled by the curve of an ear, the pull of fabric across his shoulders.
I took 261 photos over the course of two games wherein Tim did not pitch. I likely need help.

Date: 2011-06-18 06:57 am (UTC)We were over by first base—13th row the first night, 20th row the second night. It wasn't overly expensive, but it certainly wasn't as cheap as last season, that's for sure!

Date: 2011-06-18 06:59 am (UTC)Kind of makes him looks short with those horizontal stripes, doesn't it? Which sort of defeats the point of high socks...

Date: 2011-06-18 08:13 am (UTC)More of the pitchers wearing high socks would also be appreciated. Timmy should bring back the socks. A few others should try them as well, such as Javier Lopez. *has not-so-secret crush*
Nice pictures, btw.

Date: 2011-06-18 06:28 pm (UTC)Tim in high socks is the most amazing thing; I can't figure out why he keeps stubbornly mixing in the RV-driving grandpa pants look all the time. It does him few favors.

Date: 2011-06-20 07:56 am (UTC)My friend refers to what Crawford does as the winged butt look. fwiw.

Crawford! He sort of grows on you, doesn't he?
